FITUR set to announce winners of First Responsible Tourism Awards

The awards ceremony for the First Responsible Tourism Award will be held on the January 18 within the FITUR trade fair that will be held from January 17-21, 2018 at the Feria de Madrid in Spain.
Fundación InterMundial has notified the names of the finalists for the first edition of the Responsible Tourism Award, which it organizes along with FITUR and the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero. The eight finalists were chosen from among the 56 entries received from 13 countries, all of them exhibiting companies at FITUR 2018.
The First Responsible Tourism Award acknowledges the involvement of the tourism companies that work towards the development and activation of tourism that encourages practices that are responsible with the environment, the economy and local society, and it comprises four categories: Hospitality, Transportation, Tourism Products and Services and a special mention for the Destinations
