Following the high viewership ratings and feedback from the audience, Korean drama Taxi Driver is gearing up for its season finale.
A new report cited that the final script for the S.B.S. evening drama has been completed and is currently filming between 14 and 15 episodes.

The thriller crime evening drama debuted last April 9 and is set to bid its farewell on May 29 with a total of 16 episodes.
Helmed by director Park Joon Woo and written by Oh Sang-Ho, Taxi Driver follows the story of Kim Do Ki, played by Lee Je Hoon, who works under the Rainbow Taxi company.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Taxi Driver” tells the story of a mysterious taxi service that delivers vengeance on behalf of victims who are unable to get justice through the law. Lee Je Hoon stars as Kim Do Gi, a former special forces officer who works as a driver for the service, while Pyo Ye Jin plays Ahn Go Eun, a tough and talented hacker who works alongside him.

According to Nielsen Korea, the SBS drama garnered nationwide ratings of 8.7 percent while 16.0 percent for its two parts, making the evening show the most-watched drama for the whole week.
In addition, the research company also cited that crime mystery series received an average rating of 7.1 percent among the key demographic viewers ages 20 to 49 years old.
Oh, the revenge is just so delicious! And Lee Je Hoon in his black sunglasses is too. The premiere episodes of “Taxi Driver” set our expectations for this drama really high, and episodes 3-4 didn’t disappoint at all.
