Veteran Pakistan actor Bushra Ansari and Asma Abbas remembered their late sister Sumbul Shahid with emotional posts on Instagram.
Sumbul had passed away earlier this month while battling coronavirus.
Bushra shared a picture of Sumbul with her other sister Neelam Ahmed Bashir on the app. The actor wrote that the close bond with her sister was broken and she misses her.
Veteran actress Sumbul Shahid, who is the sister of legendary showbiz stars Asma Abbas and Bushra Ansari, has passed away after battling with COVID-19.
Sumbul Shahid passes away in Lahore due to the deadly pandemic. She was fighting for her life on the ventilator after contracting the deadly coronavirus. Both sisters had requested their fans and netizens to pray for their sister’s swift recovery.
The death of the legendary actress has left the entire showbiz family mourning as they grieve over the irreparable loss.

LAHORE: Known TV actor Sumbal Shahid passed away on Thursday at a local hospital where she was admitted a fortnight ago with Covid-related complications.
According to her sister Bushra Ansari, also a known actor, Sumbal was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on April 22 after developing complications caused by Covid-19 and was later put on ventilator when her condition deteriorated.
Her funeral prayers were offered at Cavalry Ground and she was buried in the adjacent graveyard under Covid SOPs.
She was the daughter of writer, columnist Ahmad Bashisr, who would write an English newspaper column under pen name Bullah Shah. Her sister Asma Abbas and niece Zara Noor Abbas are also TV actors.
