The crackdown on these nine suspects was conducted following a tip-off from residents that there was a delivery of marijuana packages to Palembang and Jakarta Banda Aceh, Aceh (ANTARA) - Personnel of the Aceh police continue their crackdown on an inter-provincial drug ring in the province, as they recently apprehended nine suspects along with 194 kilograms (kg) of cannabis. The suspects are apprehended at several places in Aceh Province and Medan City, North Sumatra Province, Aceh Police Chief Insp. Gen. Wahyu Widada stated here on Wednesday.

Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman, SCCI, received the delegation, which included Francisco Chacon, Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica, Julio Castaños, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic, Lars Pera, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala, and Ricardo Lavery, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Some 62 residents of Flores Timur District in East Nusa Tenggara Province lost their lives in flash floods, triggered by heavy rains, that lashed the areas of nine villages on Sunday.
Some 56 of the 62 flood victims were the residents of Nelelalamadike Village in Ileboleng Sub-district, Deputy Head of Flores Timur District Agus Payong Boli stated.
