Avex Pictures Reveals Final Fruits Basket Anime 2nd Season DVD/BD Release Artwork

© Natsuki Takaya / Hakusensha / Fruits Basket Project The spring 2019 and spring 2020 anime series Fruits Basket has its home video releases being handled by Avex Pictures and they’ve set a varied release pattern for it. Each season is being done as a six-volume release with the second season getting underway on June 26th, 2020 where the DVDs and Blu-rays are priced the same. The sixth and final volume of the second season is scheduled with a December 25th, 2020 debut and we now have a good larger-sized version of it to share! The first two and last three volumes are priced at 10,000 yen each while the third volume is priced at 12,500 yen with it being a bit longer. Check the full schedule below!

Live-Action Homunculus Film Unveils Teaser Trailer, 4 More Cast Members

Avex Pictures began streaming a teaser trailer for the live-action film of Hideo Yamamoto s Homunculus manga on Friday. Avex Pictures also revealed four more cast members for the film. The new cast members include (clockwise from upper left in image below): Ryo Ito as Manabu Itō, a medical student Yukino Kishii as a mysterious woman Seiyo Uchino as a yakuza boss E-girls group member Anna Ishii as a high school girl that has a connection with the protagonist Gou Ayano (seen in costume right) plays the film s protagonist. Takashi Shimizu, the creator of the Ju-On horror film franchise, is directing the film. The film will open in Japan on April 2 next year. In addition to opening in theaters throughout Japan, the film will exclusively stream on Netflix worldwide.

Avex Pictures Schedules How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Blu-ray Anime Box Set

© Yukiya Murasaki / Kodansha The summer 2018 anime series How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord is getting its home video release handled by Avex Pictures and they set a short schedule for it with its previous release. The twelve-episode series is set for a three-volume run on Blu-ray only where they’re priced at 14,000 yen. The series began its release on September 28th, 2018. Now, Avex pictures has put together a complete collection release that will arrive on February 24th, 2021 priced at 19,800 yen. The set looks to include a new bonus CD and what we saw with the previous releases. Check out our review of the series.
