Pursuit through Jamestown results in arrest

Three law enforcement agencies combined efforts in the capture of a man following a pursuit that began on Interstate 94 and continued through the city of Jamestown Thursday, according to Justin Blinsky, assistant chief of the Jamestown Police Department.
Eric Skorick, 26, was taken into custody about 3:50 p.m. in southeast Jamestown. Blinsky said he has ties to the Jamestown community although it is unclear where he resided.

Starting at 8 a.m. Thursday, May 6, there will be a temporary road closure for railroad repair on the eastbound lane of 3rd Street Southeast from 11th Avenue to 15th Avenue Southeast and on 12th Avenue Southeast from 3rd Street to 5th Street Southeast. The closure is until the repair is finished.
Anyone with questions on the street closure is asked call the city engineer s office at 252-5900.

A water outage and street closure are planned in southeast Jamestown for Thursday, May 6, according to the city engineer s office.
The water outage is planned for 8th Avenue Southeast between 12th Street Southeast & 13th Street Southeast and also on 13th Street Southeast from 8th Avenue Southeast to 9th Avenue Southeast.
Work is scheduled to begin about 8 a.m. Thursday with completion planned for about 2 p.m.

(Fargo, ND) A teen is suffering from serious injuries after an Ellendale crash.
Investigators say the crash happened over the weekend on 89th Avenue Southeast when the driver lost control on a gravel road.
The driver crashed into a ditch and the vehicle rolled. The boy was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating.
