Police are responding to fatal crash at Avenue Range, South Australia
A man has died following a fatal crash at Avenue Range in the states South East in the early hours of this morning.
Just before midnight on Sunday 28 February police were called to Avenue Range Road following reports of a single car roll over.
The driver and sole occupant of the Holden Sedan, a 58-year-old man from Kingston sadly died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigators have flown to the scene from Adelaide to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Avenue Range Road was currently closed for several hours while police examined the scene.

LIMESTONE Coast residents opened their hearts and wallets in aid of the Lucindale-Avenue Range bushfire, raising more than $190,000 for fire-affected families at Saturday night’s mega-auction.
Machinery, accommodation packages, vouchers and labour hire were among the 160 lots valued at $100,000 auctioned at the event to generate funds for bushfire relief.
The incredible figure from the auction brings the total fundraising effort to almost $210,000 – including an event held in Lucindale last month featuring Adelaide Crows players – with all funds raised to be distributed to families affected by the January fire.
Mega-auction coordinator Amanda Carter said event organisers were overwhelmed by the strong attendance and generosity at the event, with attendees bidding on a range of items including a pure wool floor rug, framed prints, signed AFL memorabilia and live animals.

A total fire ban has been issued for regions in Victoria, while crews in South Australia work to keep a major grass fire at bay as strong winds and high temperatures generate dangerous fire conditions in several states today.
Victoria s fire ban has been issued for the Mallee, Wimmera and Northern Country regions, with no fires permitted to be lit in the open air today.
The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) is still working on the Blackford blaze which is now contained, however a current active Bushfire Advice message was issued last night.
