Databases containing information about students in the Avon Maitland District and Huron-Perth Catholic District school boards are gradually being brought back online after being shut down due to a “cybersecurity incident” more than a week ago, board officials say.
Chris Roehrig, the Catholic board’s director of education, said Tuesday he was unable to share more information about the nature of the incident, but confirmed that schools in his board are slowly regaining access.
