BRIDGETON, Mo. (AP) A mother and toddler who were reported missing last week were found dead in their vehicle in north St. Louis County on Saturday.
Bridgeton Police said Kanisha Richardson, 37 and two-year-old Ava Richardson of Bridgeton were found Saturday near an apartment complex inside their 2014 GMC Terrain. The two were reported missing on Wednesday two days after they were last seen near their home.
Police did not release the cause of death. When the two were reported missing, authorities said Kanisha Richardson had made some suicidal statements.

BRIDGETON, Mo. A missing woman and her 2-year-old daughter were found dead in north St. Louis County Saturday afternoon.
According to the Bridgeton Police Department, 37-year-old Kanishia Richardson and 2-year-old Ava Richardson were found dead inside an SUV parked at an apartment complex in the 12100 block of Nottingham Lane in Bridgeton.
An endangered missing person advisory had previously been issued for Kanishia and Ava on Jan. 13. Police previously said the two were last seen at a Chick-Fil-A in north county.
