Some 400 people were killed or wounded by guns, with 25 incidents of mass shootings from May 1-May 9, in multiple states, according to the Gun Violence Archive. Such incidents put the efforts by the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association to allow concealed carry in New York state in fear of our safety.
