Weather Forecast Postpones West Wight Solent Swim

Swimmers in the West Wight Solent Swim
Organisers of the West Wight Solent Swim said last night that today s event has been postponed because of adverse weather.
Forecast winds, they ve told swimmers, would bring unsafe conditions to the course.
It has proven to be the biggest fundraiser for the West Wight Sports and Community Centre in Freshwater.
Since it started in 2011 it has raised more than £200,000 for the charity.
