While at FIU, Aronin made her introduction to dance music.
“When I was around 19 or 20, I discovered Miami Music Week. So I quit my waitressing job the day Music Week ended and started pursuing PR,” Aronin says. “From PR, I started doing events, and from events, I started working in nightclubs.”
Throughout her college years, Aronin held various positions across the nightlife scene. She was a promoter for Bardot s Slap & Tickle party and produced merchandise for III Points. Naturally, in that environment, she found her way behind the decks.
Aronin worked her way up to a residency at Bardot, where she hosted Yo! Yo! Girl! The party featured an all-female lineup whom Aronin personally taught how to DJ. She would also play III Points in 2015 and 2016 and then Ultra Music Festival in 2017 all while hustling to support herself.

A network of restaurants across Canada including 75 in Toronto are doing reasonably priced prix fixe menus next week in an effort to raise money for charity and support local.
Restaurants are offering special menus from Feb. 25 to Mar. 7, with $1 from each menu going to a charity of each restaurant s choice for an event called LocalLicious put on by Save Hospitality. I think it s important to do everything we can to keep our local restaurants going as we wait for the green light to safely reopen. Similar to the creation of Winterlicious and Summerlicious to help restaurants through the slower seasons, LocalLicious is meant to help restaurants survive during COVID-19, O&B Executive Chef John Horne told blogTO.

JACKSON, MI Indoor dining is back.
After a hiatus since mid-November, customers were able to dine at their favorite restaurants around Jackson on Monday, Feb. 1.
At The Dirty Bird, 140 W. Michigan Ave. downtown, customers started to fill available tables as the lunch hour approached. Manager Tommy Horvath was excited to see customers back in the building.
“It feels great actually,” Horvath said. “To have people back in the building is a good feeling.”
A steady flow of customers were spaced out at the bar and available tables, staying at the 25-percent capacity limits set by the state of Michigan.
