BUFFALO, Minn. When Tiffany Politte pulled up to an Allina Health Clinic in Buffalo, Minnesota Tuesday morning, it didn t take long before she realized something was wrong. As I pulled in to the clinic, two nurses come outside and I figured something was wrong because they were running, said Politte, who is a resident of Buffalo. They come up to the vehicle and they said that there s been a shooting . they ended up getting in (the vehicle), and I ended up calling 911 and taking them with me because they had nowhere else to go.

A male caller from the scene reported there were multiple explosive devices that went off inside the building, emergency dispatch audio reveals, with one officer saying we see evidence of that . Glass shattered all across, an officer said over the radio. Multiple improvised explosive devices were found at the healthcare facility, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said during a briefing with reporters, but was unable to provide more details.

The suspect in Tuesday s deadly shooting spree at a Minnesota health clinic was known to authorities for making violent threats.
Gregory Paul Ulrich, 67, opened fired late Tuesday morning on an Allina Health Clinic in Buffalo, about 40 miles outside Minneapolis. One person was killed and four others were injured in a spree that involved an unknown number of explosive devices.
Apart from the shooting, authorities said they were investigating a package left at the scene and additional “suspicious devices” at an area motel where Ulrich was staying, Reuters reported Tuesday.
