The massive construction project on State Road 37 in Hamilton County will force the closing of 146th Street for one week beginning April 9.
Drivers will be directed to use Cumberland Road to the east and Allisonville Road to the west with detours south to 141st Street to pass through SR 37.
The SR 37 project will rebuild the busy road into an expressway-style thoroughfare with three roundabout overpasses between 126th Street and 146th Street in Fishers and Noblesville.
The intersection at 126th Street opened late last year. State Road 37 runs under 126th Street, and drivers navigate a roundabout above.
The project’s completion was pushed back two years to the end of 2023, so improvements could be made on nearby routes.
