There are two meetings to look at on Saturday night, with my focus at Albion Park and Menangle.
Below are the best bets for the respective programs.
Albion Park
Best bet: Race 10, Number 1, Cat King Cole
She’s the best two-year-old filly in Queensland and should resume with a win. She took all before her last time in, headlined by a breathtaking win in the Gold Bullion at this track. The two trials leading in have been strong and even with bad luck, she’ll be too good for this lot as she heads towards Group 1 targets.

Albion Park
Best bet – Race 1, No. 1: Indy Jewel
Short but sweet to start the program. This is a Bernie Hewitt-trained filly that had her first run in this part of the world at this track last Tuesday, and I thought she was a definite pass mark when third. She should hold the lead comfortably from the draw. All things being equal, she wins.

Green after rich pickings with Copy That Copy That (No.5) has been well supported to win The Rising Sun. Comments
As a backpacker, Ray Green made his first trip to Australia five decades ago to pick fruit.
Now the veteran trainer finds himself Down Under again chasing greater riches with New Zealand’s top pacer Copy That.
The 75-year-old has trained in Wales, Italy and North America but now calls Lincoln Farms’ 25-hectare property near Pukekohe home where he trains the harness sensation.
Lining up in the $250,000 Group 1 The Rising Sun at Albion Park on Saturday night, Copy That is potentially the best horse Green has had.
