The victim of a shooting Monday night in Albany has died, according to police.
Police were called to the 300 block of First Street around 8:20 p.m. That’s where officers found 51-year-old Danny Pearson Jr. inside a vehicle. They say he’d been shot.
Pearson was rushed to Albany Medical Center where he later died.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Detective Division at 518-462-8039 or submit an anonymous tip here.

ALBANY Police said they are investigating a killing in which an 18-year-old woman was shot Monday afternoon.
Police said they responded to Essex Street, just west of Rawson Street, at about 2:50 p.m. for a shooting. The woman was found lying in the street, and was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police are not releasing the victim s name until they said family can be notified.
