Today, the San Francisco 49ers announced that they had extended the contract of U.S. Bank 49ers Radio Network color analyst Tim Ryan through the 2025 season. Ryan will continue to work with Voice of the 49ers Greg Papa, who joined the 49ers in 2019. “Having heard and seen the tremendous chemistry between Tim and Greg through two very different seasons, we are thrilled to keep the partnership together for the benefit of The Faithful,” said 49ers President Al Guido. “In just a short time together, they have already teamed up for a plethora of memorable calls as the team marched to a Super Bowl appearance in year one. Niners team president Al Guido joined NFL Network s NFL NOW on Friday to discuss the team s effort to help the vaccination process with the team facility operating as a COVID-19 vaccination site.
“It’s an issue of supply,” Newsom told reporters.
He also emphasized the mass vaccinations in the state can help California reopen some schools for in-person learning amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Our default and our priority is to get our kids safely back to schools,” he said, adding that the state is hoping to get younger students in kindergarten through the sixth grade into classrooms.
The 49ers announced last week that health officials would launch the vaccination site at the stadium.
“We recognize the urgent need for an effective and equitable vaccination effort for our community and are proud to partner with the County of Santa Clara to bring this vaccination site online as quickly and efficiently as possible,” said 49ers President Al Guido said in a Friday statement.
