I am writing regarding your proposal to shut down the Levack arena, the Lively Ski Hill and Falconbridge fitness centre. There are assumptions that this comes as retaliation against recent events involving the councillors of the wards that are being attacked, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you are only concerned for the financial benefits that closing these amenities would bring because more mud-slinging is the last thing this situation needs.

A day after suggesting council look at closing the pool in Onaping, Ward 4 Coun. Geoff McCausland made a passionate pitch for a therapeutic leisure pool to be located at the Lionel E. Lalonde Centre in Azilda.
