High school graduations are a special time in Hawai‘i when communities come together to celebrate students as they officially enter the community or start higher education. The pandemic last year caused many graduations to go completely virtual gone were the senior songs and lei ceremonies.
While the class of 2021 will not have completely normal graduations, many high schools will hold in-person ceremonies with only students or limited guest attendance, the Department of Education announced Monday.
