TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Two East Texas men charged with multiple crimes for their participation in the January riot at the United States Capitol have a new court date.
Ryan Nichols, 30, of Longview, and Alex Harkrider, 34, of Carthage, are now set to be arraigned before Judge Thomas F. Hogan on Monday, August 26. The previous arraignment date had been abandoned earlier this week.
Accused U.S. Capitol rioter Alex Harkrider should be released from federal detention and placed on house arrest pending full trial. At least, that’s the argument Harkrider’s lawyer is attempting.
