The licensed collectables specialist and pop culture expert, Eaglemoss Hero Collector is entering into the advent calendars market for the first time, having appointed the PR, marketing, and digital agency Norton PR to spearhead its first campaign.
The company plans to target fans and collectors at launch, as well as run a mass market consumer initiative to drive sales in the run up to Christmas.

With a growing trend in the market for calendars that break with the traditional chocolate and sweet treat tradition, each calendar can also be used as a storage and display unit with the idea of keeping single-use packaging to a minimum.

The FINANCIAL Research led by the University of Liverpool, in partnership with Johnson Matthey PLC and Loughborough University, is making significant progress in the development of stable and practical electrolytes for lithium-oxygen batteries.
The lithium-oxygen (Li-O2) battery (or lithium-air battery), consisting of Li-metal and a porous conductive framework as its electrode’s releases energy from the reaction of oxygen from the air and lithium. The technology is in its infancy, but in theory could provide much greater energy storage than the conventional lithium-ion battery.
In a paper published in the journal Advanced Functional Materials, Professor Laurence Hardwick from the University of Liverpool’s Stephenson Institute for Renewable Energy (SIRE) and colleagues meticulously characterised and developed electrolyte formulations that significantly minimises side reactions within the battery to enable improved longer cycle stability, University of Liverpool

Really sorry to hear about Varney s injury. A torn Achilles risks the career of someone at their peak but at 32 it s probably career ending as it takes over a year to recover as then another six months to a year before being ready to go back to full training. Let s hope I m wrong and I really hope it is something less serious.

I m sorry but if we play as we did then I don t think we ll be alright like Mick says. Murphy and Sears were fed on scraps most the game. We have to take advantage of their defence, they looked nervy and rattled all afternoon! I can t see Norwich playing as badly next week as they did today and we need to up our performance another gear. Still believe we can do it though!
THE only SNP MP to quit Westminster for a chance at the Scottish Parliament has won his seat. But Neil Gray didn t have time to celebrate before carrying out his first duty as an MPS – picking up the milk for teacher wife Karlie and their children. Gray had to step down from his Airdrie and Shotts Westminster seat to stand for the same area in the Scottish Parliament as veteran MSP Alex Neil retires. The move put him head-to-head with Labour challenger Richard Leonard. Today Gray was announced as the winner with 16,139 votes to the former Scottish Labour leader s 10,671. But in after the result was announced, Gray became so swept up that wife Karlie had to use Twitter to get ahold of him, saying: We couldn t be more delighted for you as a family. However, I can t get you on message or phone so if you could pick up milk on the way home I d appreciate it.
