Saint Petersburg will be hosting seven games in UEFA Euro 2020, which was postponed until summer 2021 due to Covid-19. Anyone coming to Russia for one of these games will be able to enter and leave the country as many times as they want from 29 May until 2 July.
Speaking on Thursday, Alexey Sorokin, the head of the organizing committee for the games in Saint Petersburg, explained that a deal was struck with the national authorities to open the border for all fans, despite many travel restrictions still remaining in place.

Russia hopes to fill its 61,000-seater stadium in Saint Petersburg to half capacity for this summer’s Euro 2020 tournament, the city’s local organising committee said on Wednesday.
Saint Petersburg is scheduled to host four matches including a quarter-final that could potentially involve England or Scotland at this summer’s tournament, which was postponed by a year due to the international COVID-19 outbreak.

Alexey Sorokin, the head of the local organising committee, spoke at a news conference on Wednesday to mark 100 days before the month-long tournament kicks off on June 11.
