LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Coming off a huge win over #20 Texas, the Lady Raiders followed it up with a 75-65 victory on the road in Kansas Wednesday night.
It was a back and forth contest that was tied after one. Texas Tech led by four at the half and it was tied at 50 after three.
Tech pulled away in the fourth with a 10-0 run as Maka Jackson hit a big 3 and Alexis Tucker’s basket stretched the lead to 10 with under three minutes to play.

Texas Tech Dominates Incarnate Word Before Coach Fights a Bear
The Lady Raiders and Red Raiders both had games against Incarnate Word on Tuesday and it was a complete beatdown. The Lady Raiders beat Incarnate word in the afternoon by a mere 53 points with the 100-47 victory. The Red Raiders followed that with a big win of their own beating the Cardinals 79-51. Then Mark Adams boxed a bear, but more on that later.
The Lady Raiders absolutely dominated from bell to bell with Lexi Gordon leading all scorers with 28. Alexis Tucker and Vivian Gray both notched double-doubles while the Lady Raiders entire roster scored at least one bucket. The Lady Raiders were on fire shooting better than 60% from the field and 45% from three.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Playing their final non-conference game, the Lady Raiders jumped out early and cruised to a 100-47 win over Incarnate Word Tuesday afternoon at the United Supermarkets Arena.
Lexi Gordon led the way with 28 points, including five three-pointers. She shot 11-16 from the floor. Vivian Gray added 27 points on 12-17 shooting. Both are season-highs.
Two other Lady Raiders were in double figures as Khadija Faye and Alexis Tucker chipped in 10 each.
The Lady Raiders left victorious 78-72. Â
Starters:
With three-year starter, junior Chrislyn Carr entering the transfer portal, the Lady Raiders were left with a huge void to fill in their starting rotation.
They went with freshman forward Khyla Wade-Warren to add some size to the lineup.
Along Wade-Warren started sophomore guard Alexis Tucker, senior forward Vivian Gray, senior forward Lexi Gordon and junior forward Bryn Gerlich.
