Conover Residents Charged In Connection To Alexander County Larceny Case

54-year-old Larry Allan Miller and 46-year-old Nathan Scott Carroll, both of Conover, were arrested on charges filed by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. They’re both charged with felony larceny and misdemeanor counts of first-degree trespassing and vandaliam with damage to real property. Miller was arrested by Alexander County authorities, Caroll was apprehended by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, May 1, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to vehicle batteries that were stolen from an address in the Bethlehem Community. The victim provided camera footage of the incident. Further investigation by detectives led to the suspects in this case be

45-year-old Allen Johnson was arrested Saturday (May 8) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while impaired. Following the arrest, Johnson was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under $5,000 secured bond. He remained in jail as of earlier today (May 10). A District Court appearance was scheduled today.

Woman Jailed On Charge Of Missing Court Date To Answer To Felony Count

34-year old Jessica Renee Anderson was arrested last Wednesday (May 5) by authorities in Alexander County. She’s charged with failure to appear on a count of felony probation violation out of county. Anderson was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under $40,000 secured bond. She remained in jail as of earlier today (May 10). A Superior Court appearance is scheduled for June 7.

Women Arrested On Felony Drug Charges Following Reported Chase

24-year-old Payton Rose Schwantes of Stony Point and 38-year-old Chrystal Gail Stikeleather of Taylorsville were arrested Saturday (May 1) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. Schwantes is charged with two felony counts of trafficking methamphetamine and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Stikeleather is charged with two felony counts of trafficking in meth, single felony counts of maintain a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance, and flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle. She’s also charged with misdemeanor counts of injury to personal property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
