Philadelphia Man Admits Conspiring to Export Firearms Parts from United States to Turkey and Republic of Georgia
CAMDEN, N.J. - A Philadelphia man today admitted his role in a conspiracy to smuggle more than $200,000 worth of firearms parts out of the United States, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig announced.
Samet Doyduk, 35, pleaded guilty by videoconference before U.S. District Judge Robert B. Kugler to an information charging him with one count of conspiracy to violate the Arms Export Control Act and anti-smuggling laws.

A Jersey City resident was one of two men arrested Feb. 3 for their alleged roles in a scheme to defraud multiple financial institutions of millions of dollars, according to Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael Honig.
Muhammad Naveed, 35, of Jersey City, and Syed Abbas, 32, of Westerville, Ohio, were arrested by federal law enforcement and charged by criminal complaint with conspiracy to commit bank fraud.
The arrests mark the most recent charges filed in connection with the wide-ranging conspiracy to defraud the federally insured banks and merchant processors of millions of dollars as seven others were charged in connection with the scheme in July.
Newark, NJ - A New Jersey-based securities trader was sentenced today to 18 months in prison for orchestrating a massive, long-running market manipulation scheme and tax fraud that netted more than $17 million in illegal profits between 2014 and 2016.
Joseph Taub, of Clifton, New Jersey, previously pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge John Michael Vazquez in Newark federal court to counts four and five of a superseding indictment charging him with securities fraud and conspiracy to defraud the United States. Judge Vazquez imposed the sentence by videoconference today.
