U.S. senior women’s national team star Alyssa Murray is one of 24 candidates in the running for the “Greatest Athlete of All Time” award from The World Games, with the schedule to begin Friday, January 8. You can vote for your favorite candidate once every 24 hours.
On Wednesday, Jan. 20, the top 10 candidates will advance, keeping the votes they’ve already accrued. The voting ends Monday, Feb. 1, and all votes will be visible on the site.

Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. New World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship Dates Announced
The World Championship will now be held June 29-July 9, 2022 in Towson, Md. on the campus of Towson University. The dates were confirmed by a unanimous vote of the World Lacrosse Board of Directors during its monthly meeting on Tuesday.
2. Alyssa Murray potential G.O.A.T.
A member of the U.S. Team since 2014 and a two-time Tewaaraton finalist at Syracuse, Murray is one of 24 athletes in the running for the “Greatest Athlete of All Time” award from The World Games. The voting begins Friday, January 8.
