Pete Schwaba is a stand-up comedian, writer, director and host of Director s Cut on PBS Wisconsin. His writing and directing credits include “A Guy Thing” and “The Godfather of Green Bay.” Pete’s TV writing credits include “Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader?” as Jeff Foxworthy’s writer/producer and the sports comedy show “Sports Soup.” Pete is married with two children and splits time between Los Angeles and the Midwest.

PBS Wisconsin has been awarded a Public Media Award for excellence and breadth of COVID-19 content by the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA).
Every year for the past 52 years, the Public Media Awards celebrate excellence in public media. This year, that excellence was amplified by creative and inspired responses to multiple crises. All across the country, public media stations rose to the moment and served their communities during their time of critical need.
