Princeton Council approves consultant contracts and police equipment purchase, rejects lone bid for proposed community WiFi project -

The Princeton Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to approve three agreements for consultants, voted to approve more than $100,000 in police equipment, and rejected the lone bid for the proposed community WiFi project. Alison Mueller, who was Mayor Mark Freda’s campaign communications manager during his mayoral campaign, will be paid up to $36,000 this year to produce the mayor and council newsletters. Mueller will be paid $75 an hour. Access Princeton, a town communications department, will still distribute the newsletters. Fred Williams, a retired police officer who was hired last year for $80,000 per year to handle press inquiries and other public relations, will still handle those tasks.

Father Kyle Stanton named Catholic School Cleric of the Year

GORHAM — The Rev. Kyle Stanton, pastor of Good Shepherd and Holy Family Parishes, and Head of School at Salve Regina Academy, received the 2020 St. John Vianney Cleric of the Year Award from the Diocese of Manchester Catholic Schools Office. The New Hampshire Catholic School Clergy Member of the Year award is named for St. John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests. According to the Diocesan Catholic Schools Office, the recipient of the Spirit of St. John Vianney Award is a member of the clergy who provides inspirational support for Catholic education in the diocese. Under the. Rev. Stanton’s leadership, Salve Regina Academy opened in September 2019, welcoming over 40 students into its location adjacent Holy Family Parish.
