Pharmacies adopt robotic disinfection solution in fight against Covid-19
Pharmacies in the UK are taking the next step in disinfection by investing in a new breed of automated disinfection robots. The Evolve Raybotix UV-C Disinfection Robots use UV-C light supported by an ozone generating function for maximum disinfection and peace of mind.
The automated machines map their surroundings and kill 99.9 percent of microorganisms on all surfaces by destroying their DNA structures. It’s an environmentally friendly and chemical-free way to quickly and safely eliminate harmful bacteria and viruses. Disinfection times start from just six minutes. As well as being quick and thorough, these machines have minimal operating costs.
RSPCA inspectors are investigating after a dog was found dumped with a severely infected ear in Somerset. The French bulldog, who has been named Furby by the team caring for her, was taken to St Giles Animal Centre, in Wrantage, after he was discovered straying in Greystone Lane, Buckland St Mary, on March 18. The team at the rescue centre and kennels contacted the RSPCA after he was found to be underweight and suffering from a severe ear infection. RSPCA inspector Simon Coombes, who is investigating, said: “This poor dog must’ve been in so much pain with this infection when he was found.

Held Across Three Weekends in Different Venues

Publishing Perspectives readers know, the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature is one of the few such major events to go forward in the last year with a physical presence. The event was presented with the support of Founding Partners Emirates Airline and the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, the emirate’s dedicated authority for culture, heritage, arts, and literature.
Dubai: The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature concluded on Saturday following three weekends of live and virtual appearances and sold-out sessions from Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, Elif Shafak, and Lemn Sissay.
