It appears Toronto FC captain Michael Bradley, like most everyone else, is on the outside looking in when it comes to Jozy Altidore s impasse with the MLS club.
Bradley, whose finger is usually on the TFC pulse, had little by way of specifics to offer when asked about Altidore on Tuesday.
It s not my place to talk about that situation, he said. For a lot of different reasons. Mainly because I m in the dark as well. Yes, Jozy s a good friend. We ve been teammates for a long time. In this last stretch, he has not been around. And so how different discussions have gone between him and the club or his agent and the club, I genuinely have no information. I ve not seen Jozy in a while. And so I don t know the direction that that is headed.
But GM Ali Curtis says communication between the two camps has increased and improved in recent days. They have been talking daily.

A Lack of Vision
There have been two major firings in the last week of MLS action as of this writing, the first came on Tuesday, June 29th as Jesse Fioranelli (pictured above hiding his second set of nipples) was shown the door after years of failure at San Jose. The second firing came today as I m writing this, July 2nd, after Chris Armas (pictured below playing his invisible keyboard for his Genesis cover band) saw his Toronto team thumped 7-1 by the not so great DC United. In theory these are two very different firings, Fioranelli saw the door after years of failure including bad signings, bizarre coaching changes and just generally not seeming to get how to do things in MLS. Chris Armas, just started the job and only had 11 games in charge of Toronto before getting booted out the door. These teams are very different in terms of budget too, San Jose spends very little, while T
