Girl, 6, boy, 16, man shot during block party in Fort Lauderdale, police say Published:  Updated:  Tags:  FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A 6-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy and a man were injured in a Sunday night shooting during a block party in Fort Lauderdale, police said on Monday. According to Detective Ali Adamson, a spokeswoman for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, the shooting was about 9:45 p.m. on Sunday outside of Tony’s Market at 800 NW 22 Rd. Detectives believe several shooters fired more than 50 rounds from semi-automatic rifles and handguns. As a result of the gunfire, ShotSpotter technology issued several alerts, police said.
