The 2021 NCAA gymnastic regionals championship is coming to Coleman Coliseum on April 1-3. Tuscaloosa is one of four cities selected to host the regional gymnastic championships. Athens, GA, Morgantown, West Virginia and Salt Lake City, Utah will host the other three regionals.

The second-ranked LSU Gymnastics team scored a 197.325 in the loss to No. 6 Alabama on Friday night inside Coleman Coliseum.
Freshman Haleigh Bryant led the squad with a 39.600 in the all-around to match her career high.
“Credit to Alabama for bringing it tonight,” head coach Jay Clark said. “We couldn’t put it all together tonight so now it’s time to get back in the gym and fight. We cannot sulk over what happen tonight and have to work before we go to Kentucky for another tough meet.”

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. Behind a career night from Luisa Blanco, and season-best performances on vault and floor, Alabama gymnastics earned its highest overall score of the season and upset No. 2 LSU in Coleman Coliseum on Friday night.
The final score was 197.725 to 197.325, which in gymnastics is a pretty solid win. I attribute it to the fact that we ve been building toward this week after week and I know our ladies know what they re capable of, Alabama coach Dana Duckworth said. Like we talked about, our goal to be able to be at our best is to hit 24 for 24 and we got closer to that this week than we did before.
Alabama gymnastics only has one loss in the season so far, and it was a close one. The ladies latest meet in Athens, GA Friday against the Dawgs ended in a final score of 197.00 VS 197.275. This puts the team at 4-1 on the season and 2-1 on the road. Although the Tide lost, a combined team score of 197.00 is the highest of the season thus far and there is still plenty of time to bounce back.
