Ethan Nation already had 35 scholarship offers to his name but, arguably, the most important one of his recruitment came early last week from the University of Alabama.
The 2023 defensive back prospect from Roswell High School in Georgia received the news from one of the Crimson Tide s newest assistants in jay Valai. My dad told me to call Coach Valai, Nation told Bama Central. And I m thinking we are just going to have a normal conversation. Me and Coach Valai started talking and he complimented my game. He said he loves my ball skills, my tracking skills and how I can tell what s going to happen before it does. So at the end of the call, he says he wants to extend an offer to me.

Nate Oats and the rest of the University of Alabama men s basketball coaching staff were forced to watch JD Davison s final high school game for Calhoun from their offices in Tuscaloosa.
Due to COVID-19, in-person contact between future student-athletes and coaches is prohibited. But that didn t stop the Crimson Tide signee from impressing miles away on the television set.
Davison dropped 45 points, while recording 13 rebounds, two steals and two blocks in an 81-77 loss to Midfield in the AHSAA Class 2A state semifinals.

Nick Saban and company have landed its quarterback for the 2022 recruiting class.
On Friday afternoon, elite signal caller Ty Simpson verbally committed to the University of Alabama over the likes of Clemson, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, among others.
“It’s very exciting to play with some of the best and be coached by some of the best and being able to be NFL ready is all I can ask for in a school,” Simpson said during his announcement on CBS Sports HQ.
