Joint Active Systems (JAS) has expanded their Orthotic and Prosthetic patient care services with the addition of experienced leadership and investment in fabrication technologies. Bryan King is a board certified and licensed Orthotist and Prosthetist, establishing JAS as a premier orthotics and prosthetics patient care provider in Effingham and the surrounding areas.

ON Thursday 6th May 2021, the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture launched its Small Member Support Program which aims to assist small businesses as they recover from the economic impact of COVID-19. This program was built to offer Information, Skills and Knowledge, Tools and Support Services Programs to help strengthen MSMEs among Chamber Membership and the wider business community. As we are aware, a vibrant small business sector is critical to the recovery of the economy.
The St. Lucia Youth Business Trust is pleased to announce that it will be conducting Financial Literacy Training as part of the Chamber’s Small Member Support Program. Financial Literacy is the ability to understand and adequately use different financial skills. It is often carded as the foundation of your relationship with money and a lifelong journey.

In his 1963 commencement address at American University, the late President John F. Kennedy famously said, âIf we cannot now end our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity.â
Here in Somerset â thanks to the tumultuous summer of 2020 â local people are working on making this community at least, if not the world itself, safer for its own diversity to flourish.
