The Department of Science and Technology’s Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) extended its felicitations to Sanchez who earned the PMO’s top title for three consecutive years after besting over two dozen other finalists.
“Bryce’s achievement is all the more notable and exemplary given the challenges that everyone most especially students like him and his fellow competitors have had to face over the past year,” DOST SEI Director Josette Biyo said in a statement.
The DOST-SEI also congratulated Steven Reyes of Saint Jude Catholic School and Raphael Dylan Dalida of Philippine Science High School – Main Campus, who are both Grade 12 students, for winning first and second runners-up at the PMO.

THE DEPARTMENT of Energy (DoE) and Department of Science and Technologyâs Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (DOST-PNRI) have rolled out a series of educational materials on nuclear science and technology to broaden public awareness and improve public perception on the fuel source.
The learning materials, geared towards high school teachers and students, consist of online booklets and videos, and modules for exclusive use in the DOST-Science Education Instituteâs Science Explorer Bus.
âIâm optimistic that through the projects⦠our youth will gain unbiased knowledge that would serve as a strong foundation before they proceed to higher levels of learning,â Energy Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi said in a taped message shown during the launch.

Maya-3 and Maya-4, the first Philippine-university built cube satellites, have been turned over to the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), the STAMINA4Space has announced.

The country’s third and fourth nanosatellites were turned over to the JAXA on April 28, it said in a Facebook post.
“Congratulations to STeP-UP (Space Science and Technology Proliferation through University Partnerships) Scholars batch 1 for the successful turnover of their cube satellites, Maya-3 and Maya-4, to the JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency)!,” it said, describing it as a “milestone.”
