2021 Arnold Classic returns to Columbus on Sept 25

The world s best bodybuilders and fittest athletes will battle it out during the 2021 Arnold Classic and related IFBB Pro League contests at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Sept. 25. The Arnold Classic men’s bodybuilding championships, held annually since 1989, is the marquee event of the Arnold Sports Festival. The multi-sport event founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Lorimer will be a one-day celebration of professional bodybuilding. Contestants will compete for a $412,000 prize during this year s event, which was originally scheduled for March but was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Competitor lists for this year’s contests will be announced in mid-June.

The college held in-person classes and opened residence halls in the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters. It announced on Friday that it will hold in-person learning and open campus residences in accordance with state and federal pandemic guidelines in the fall semester, which begins Aug. 30. The college said that it did not need to furlough or reduce staff during this current academic year and that undergraduate enrollment saw minimal declines, and graduate and professional studies enrollment increased during the academic year.
