Sedalia Police Reports For April 14, 2021

Early Wednesday morning, a traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of East 5th Street and South Summit Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was found to have an active/confirmed warrant for a probation/parole violation on original charges of Assault in the 2nd Degree. Jeremy M. Lawson, 36, of Warsaw, was arrested on the warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.
Monday night, Officers responded near the area of South Arlington and East 14th Street for a possible hit and run report. Officers made contact with the victim, who said her parked car had been struck by another vehicle and that vehicle had fled the scene. No one was inside the victim s vehicle at the time. The victim wished to pursue charges.
