LEESBURG Internationally renowned artist and designer Michel Bergeron will be featured in a solo exhibit at the Leesburg Center for the Arts that begins Friday and runs through Jan. 29.
“We are very excited to host the Colors in Black & White exhibition,” LCFA director Maria Stefanovic said. “Michel s pieces are both vibrant and bold combinations of pop and abstract art, influenced by fashion consumerism and societal trend shifts. As we begin our journey into 2021, the Renaissance year, visit the Colors in Black & White exhibition and discover, explore and experiment art in the CFA gallery.”
Bergeron has been an artist, graphic designer, teacher and inspirer for more than 40 years and has a passion for fine arts.

Adál, who moved from Puerto Rico to New York as a teenager, created art that was often bitingly satirical and politically subversive.
Adál Maldonado, an influential Puerto Rican photographer and artistic provocateur who explored the psychological and cultural fallout of the Puerto Rican diaspora in New York, died on Dec. 9 in San Juan. He was 72.
His death, in a hospital, was caused by pancreatic cancer, said Francisco Rovira Rullán, his gallerist in San Juan and the manager of his estate. Mr. Maldonado had moved back to Puerto Rico in 2010.

MUMBAI: After rising like a colossus over the niche but glamorous and lucrative field of vehicles designing, Dilip Chhabria - as familiar to celebs as his famed logo DC - has suddenly and unceremoniously tumbled from grace.
Acknowledged as a pioneering trailblazer in automotive design, a concept that was practically alien to the Indian automobile industry, Chhabria, 66, stormed onto the scene in his 20s and over the years attained dizzying heights of fame and accolades.

After the Toyota FJ Cruiser left the US market in 2014, it carried on in Japan for a few more years. Due to their unique styling, off-road capability, and proven reliability, used FJ Cruisers command pretty high sums on the used market. With the cult following that the FJ has garnered over the years, it would make sense for Toyota to bring it back in some capacity.
The previous FJ Cruiser was based on the existing Toyota 4Runner; a successor could theoretically use the upcoming TNGA-F platform that will underpin the next-generation 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia. While most FJ fans would like to see the model return with a gasoline engine, a design student at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, had a more out-of-the-box idea.
