Written By: Brainerd Dispatch | × ONAMIA A 72-year-old Brainerd woman was killed Thursday, Jan. 7, when she was struck by a truck leaving a convenient store in Onamia. The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the fatal collision at 6:28 p.m. at the Super Stop off Highway 169, just north of Onamia. Troopers learned a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling at a high rate of speed in the Super Stop parking lot when it struck a pedestrian as she was leaving the store. The Mille Lacs Sheriff’s Office reported the vehicle crashed into the building after it struck the pedestrian.
