In a meeting, Bengaluru Urban District Commissioner Dr J Manjunath reiterated that adequate awareness needs to be spread about the anti-cow slaughter bill and legal action would be initiated in case of violations. The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Animal Husbandry Department, Road Transport Office Department, Police Department, and other animal welfare officials and activists.
