Prominent Personalities to Discuss Outlook for Arab Media Sector at AMF s 19th Edition

File photo: Amr Nabil,AP Dubai - Asharq Al-Awsat The Dubai Press Club (DPC) has announced the agenda for the 19th edition of the Arab Media Forum (AMF), set to be held virtually next week. The Forum will bring together prominent regional and international media personalities and industry leaders to discuss the outlook for the region’s media sector. It will be held on Wednesday under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Dubai: Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, stressed that developing the Arab media sector in line with the latest global advancements in the industry is a strategic priority for government decision makers and media institutions in the region. His remarks came as Dubai Press Club gears up to host a virtual edition of the Arab Media Forum on December 23, which will feature a number of leading media figures from the region and around the world. The decision to hold the 19th edition of the prestigious media event virtually is part of observing COVID-19 precautionary protocols.
