Many students studying in government schools come from economically-backward families, and with their parents’ income getting limited due to the pandemic, they hardly get enough food to meet their nutritional needs.
A group of residents from Malleswaram, as part of their various
CSR initiatives, teamed up to help these children. On July 8, members of
Malleswaram Suttha Muttha (MSM) group a community on social media collaborated with the
administration of Government Boys High School and distributed ration kits among students coming from poor families. “School Head Mistress Leela shortlisted 50 such students and they brought their parents to collect the donations on the school premises,” said
