Elizabeth II sits alone in the quire of St George s Chapel during the funeral service of her husband Britain s Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in Windsor Castle in Windsor.
Windsor: Queen Elizabeth II bid farewell to her late husband, Prince Philip, at a royal funeral like no other, restricted by coronavirus rules but reflecting his long life of military and public service.
The Duke of Edinburgh, who died on April 9 at age 99, was interred in the Royal Vault at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle after a 50-minute service attended by just 30 guests.

Prince Philip s service gave TV viewers a rare chance to witness live the ceremonial funeral of a senior member of the Royal Family.
Once the Duke’s coffin vanished from the view of the mourners and viewers, on an electrically-powered lift platform, it was deposited at the start of a 15-metre long rock-cut underground passageway that leads into the Royal Vault.
The vault was constructed during 1810–14 underneath what is now known as the Albert Memorial Chapel.
It’s had a chequered history, being begun in 1494 to hold the tomb of Henry VI, then Henry VII and finally Henry VIII.
It fell derelict for over two centuries, until finally finished in 1863 as a memorial to Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria.
QUEEN ‘HAD PIC OF PHILIP IN HER POCKET’ DURING FUNERAL
The Queen carried one of Prince Philip’s trademark handkerchiefs and a photo of them together in Malta in her handbag for his funeral, a royal insider has claimed.
Her Majesty, 94, kept both items in her handbag – an accessory she often uses to hold precious objects.
Both items hold sentimental value for the Queen and her marriage of more than seven decades to Prince Philip.
The white, folded square, inserted into the breast pocket of a sharply cut suit, was a strong feature of the Duke’s classic style.
And the couple kept Malta close to their hearts, the MailOnline reports.

Prince Charles has left for his cottage in Wales to privately grieve the loss of his father – following an extraordinary summit with Prince William and Prince Harry immediately after Prince Philip s funeral.
I have learned the grief-stricken Prince of Wales fled to Llwynywermod in Llandovery on his own within 24 hours of his father being laid to rest.
He departed after a face-to-face meeting within the grounds of Windsor Castle with his two sons, where they started the baby steps towards a reconciliation following Harry and Meghan s bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview.
But, in an unprecedented development that lays bare the depth of their rift, Charles and William preferred to meet with Harry together so that nobody s words could be misconstrued afterwards.
