Rival clubs alerted by Bomber s contract status

Jake Stringerâs contract situation at Essendon is one to watch as the year unfolds.
Sportsday host Sam McClure understands that rival clubs are aware that Stringer, who joined the Bombers from the Western Bulldogs in 2017, is coming out of contract.
Given Stringer played just 10 games last season and has been troubled by soft tissue injuries â what is the forward worth?
âI did want to raise a contract situation which is starting to spread to rival clubs,â McClure told
Sportsday.
âJake Stringer is out of contract, itâs the end of his four-year deal that he signed to move from the Western Bulldogs to Essendon.
SEN Breakfast. As a club weâve presented to him what our plans are moving forward, but really, the best feedback is that every day Zach comes in here, heâs having a real impact on our group. We feel really comfortable what with heâs doing at the moment and heâs got every right to do what heâs doing. Iâm sure if Zach believes heâs getting better every day, that contract will take care of itself. Everyone appreciated the honesty from the article and thatâs what you get from every conversation you have with Zach, he just tells you up front what heâs looking for, what he wants in a club, how heâs feeling.

In 2009, the musical
Bran Nue Dae debuted in cinemas. Directed by Rachel Perkins, it featured local talent Rocky McKenzie, Jessica Mauboy, Geoffrey Rush, Ernie Dingo, and Deborah Mailman.
It’s a movie about love, family, and home but amongst the crazy dancing and spontaneous singing, there’s an iconic scene where Willie (McKenzie) and a drunken Roxanne (Mailman) end up at ‘the condom tree’. In the scene, the tree looks almost magical, with coloured condoms dangling off the branches like metallic lights. As a young teenager, I watched the movie thinking it was just a funny concept to help fill the scene.
