It s going to be an exciting year for games, with the new PS5 and Xbox Series X offering up opportunities for developers to wow us, and the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch all still going strong.

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette has one rule, whether he’s playing as his video-game self in MLB The Show or stepping onto a real life baseball field: “Beat everybody.”
Bichette, a life-long fan of The Show, has been plugged in with the annually released sports game since he was a little boy learning the tools of his trade from his dad, former big-leaguer Dante.

“So every time I go out there, I wanna win and play well,” Bichette replies when he’s asked who his must-beat teams are real and virtual.
Sony’s MLB The Show 21 officially went live on Xbox consoles for the first time in the series’ history on April 20, but it hasn’t been a smooth transition. MLB The Show players have dealt with a multitude of server issues, some missing features, such as the inability to add more than three pitches in Road to the Show. That looks like it will change, as Sony has made big promises in the first major patch coming to The Show 21.
Among some of the changes include miscellaneous gameplay tweaks, an authentication error in March to October, and the ability to install additional pitches to Road to the Show pitches. According to Sony, players will be able to add additional pitches via training in Road to the Show.

MLB The Show 21 ever since the game released in early access two weeks ago today. Although not every issue has been fixed at this point mainly in regards to the servers a major new update has been released as of today that should make the sports sim that much more polished.

MLB The Show 21 has rolled out recently across all platforms and brings with it numerous changes. Per usual with an update of this sort so quickly after launch, much of what has been included in the patch is mainly bug fixes and other tweaks that help rectify some lingering balance issues.
