A Creative Visa has been launched in Abu Dhabi. It seeks to support individuals contributing to the cultural and creative industries in the UAE Capital.
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) on Sunday announced that the Creative Visa is open to a wide range of talented individuals .
They must be operating within key fields across all domains within the cultural and creative industries, including heritage, performing arts, visual arts, design and crafts, gaming and e-sports, media and publishing.
UAE: Negative Covid result must for EmSAT exams

Candidates who tested positive for Covid must have two negative results.
Students taking the Emirates Standardised Test (EmSAT) must have a negative Covid-19 (PCR) test result, the Ministry of Education has announced.
The test should have been taken within seven days of the exam and should reflect on the AlHosn app.
In case a student had tested positive for Covid, the applicant has to provide two negative test results when registering, the statement added.
EmSAT is a set of standardised electronic tests for measuring and evaluating students. Applicants take the test for college admission and placement.
UAE temporarily puts on hold visa-waiver to Israelis

Tel Aviv: The Israeli Foreign Ministry has announced that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has temporarily suspended a visa-exemption deal with the Jewish state, citing coronavirus fears.
In a statement on Monday, Ministry spokesman Lior Haiat said that the UAE government has notified its Israeli counterparts that the implementation of the agreement has been suspended until July 1 in the wake of efforts to curb the spread of the coronavirus , Xinhua news agency reported.
The decision was taken in accordance with a section of the agreement which says that both parties may suspend the implementation of the deal for reasons of public health fears, according to Haiat.

The actor is currently in the city for a visit.
Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is currently in Dubai for a visit and posted a video to his Instagram account thanking officials and authorities at Dubai airport for their assistance when he landed in the city recently.
He says in the video, “So I’m here in sunny and very pleasant Dubai, just landed, came here for some work. Something amazing happened today, I thought I’ll share it with you guys. When I entered Dubai I realized I hadn’t carried a physical copy of my visa, and I didn’t have it on my phone also digitally so there was a mess-up. I just want to say thank you, the people in Dubai are very sweet, the immigration control, the passport officer, came and they were very nice to me.
