2020 was indeed eventful and filled with a lot of new cars. However, it was also the year of many teasers and a few postponed events and launches. That makes 2021 a year that is rife with opportunities for manufacturers to launch all-new models and update models that look like they need a refresh.
With a lot of news out there on cars that are due for next year, here’s a list of the models that you can expect for 2021.
Chevrolet
The golden bowtie is winding up for a stellar year with three of its heavy hitters, the Tahoe, Suburban, and the Corvette C8, which are, at this point, all big possibilities. With their recent launch in their home country, the Philippine market will likely see the Tahoe and Suburban siblings come with a new and more powerful diesel motor. The Corvette C8 on the other hand will mark the arrival of the brand’s first mid-engine sports car to enter the local automotive market.

The local government unit (LGU) of Pasig City forged a partnership with Globe on Monday to provide residents with faster and affordable internet connection through GoWiFi and KonekTayo WiFi services.
“Thank you, Globe, for partnering with the Local Government of Pasig,” Mayor Vico Sotto said. “GoWiFi and KonekTayo WiFi now available at City Hall, Plaza Rizal, Plaza Bonifacio, our public hospitals, and more to come.”
KonekTayo WiFi is a community WiFi service that offers affordable internet access, wherein people only need to connect to a KonekTayoWiFi hotspot and purchase a surfing load promo to access the internet.

“We realized tremendous number of products and services will have to ride on a digital infrastructure,” he maintained during the recent, Stratbase Albert del Rosario Institute-organized, virtual Pilipinas Conference.
“If you’re customer-focused, people think about keeping themselves safe, accessing services and
products in completely different ways. That transformation just moved up to a whole other degree,” he stressed.
The digital life was unheard of before in business transactions, Zobel de Ayala conceded.
