The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved N500 million as variation for the completion of the 18.7 kilometer Bulu-Oriagbene road project in Bomadi Local Council of Delta State.
Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, made the disclosure while briefing newsmen at the end of the virtual meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
He added that the project had reached 97 per cent completion stage.
“The Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs presented two memos today (yesterday) at the meeting and both were approved. One was just augmentation or a variation of the contract for the construction of Bulu-Oriagbene road in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved contracts for the construction of three sub-stations in Kano and Benue states as well as the extension of transmission lines in Umuahia, Abia State and Mbaino in Imo State.
