Staunton Montessori School has named Debra Dance Schmid has been named the new head of school, replacing Kelley Flanders, who is transitioning at the end of this school year to become head of school at Rochester Montessori in Minnesota.

A rentier is someone who derives their income from “economic rents”: revenues derived from merely owning something. With a factory, you have workers who contribute labor, you have investors who build and maintain the physical plant, and you have the landlord, who siphons off some of the revenues derived from this activity because of his title to the dirt underneath the factory.

Speaking to
Variety, 11 former staffers who worked on both the beloved WB show and its spin-off in the late 1990s and early 2000s claim Whedon had a track record of misconduct.
The publication said that many of the insiders described the “set as operating like high school”, with the writer-director deciding “who was in and who was out”. He could be “sharp-tongued”, one source said, and was “both feared and idolised”.
