Building sales generate QR258m in weekly property market: Ezdan Report

 05 Apr 2021 - 8:48 The Peninsula Doha: Qatar’s weekly property market has witnessed sales deals worth QR431.5m, where building sales have formed the chunk generating up to QR258m, or 59.8 percent of the total sales volume, while land lots generated up to QR173.4m, or about 40.1 percent of the total sales, according to Ezdan Real Estate report which was sponsored by Sak Partnerships Company. The market activity from March 21-25 showed that the registered property sales were distributed among 7 municipalities including Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Dhakhira, Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Daayen, and Al Wakra, and included the sales of vacant lands, residences, multi-use buildings, multi-use land lots and residential buildings, according to the data gleaned from the real estate bulletin released by the Real Estate Registration Department.

Only virtual consultations for non-essential services due to COVID-19 restrictions: PHCC

 05 Apr 2021 - 16:46 The Peninsula Doha: The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced that, with effect from April 4, 2021, all non-essential services will only be conducted through virtual consultations using both telephone and video.  “Given the current rise in COVID-19 cases, the changes have been put into effect as a precautionary measure to keep the community safe, by minimizing exposure for both patients and healthcare workers as we have a high volume of vaccination groups visiting the health centers. To limit the number of patients visiting health centers, PHCC teams will call patients to reschedule any existing appointments non-essential services by converting them to virtual consultations,” said Dr Samya Ahmad Al Abdulla, Executive Director of Operations, of PHCC.
